This small venue is only available during the summer when the Anderson-Cottonwood Irrigation District puts in a small diversion dam in the Sacramento River, right in downtown Redding. This venue has only about 2 kilometers of usable water, but the venue makes up for that by having very little boat traffic, and being able to row under three different bridges, one of which is over a 100 years old, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
